That's a homerun!! make the 13 ga. scented, too.
Bought these bags at my local grocery store. The bags are so thin that they tear when pulled off the roll and also tear when adding trash into the bags. It is so bad that this company should be sued for deceptive marketing practices. I am shocked that this item ever launched and am assuming the reviews here are fake. If you do buy, open before leaving the store, so you can return. This product is so bad that it is unbelievable... belongs in a prank store.
Love these bags: they stay put in my tall trash can under the sink (no matter how many times we pull the can in and out of the cabinet the top stays folded over the can). And they don't leak or get gross: so it's no big deal to take out the trash. I read some reviews about them tearing: but that must have been a bad batch, because these are unbelievably sturdy.
I like to help the environment and am happy to see more companies moving in that direction with their products and the packaging. I had hopes for these kitchen bags in that spirit, but was disappointed as the bags usually tear while getting them free of the box and separated from the next bag. Once a tear begins it just unzips the bag lengthwise making it unusable. Of the twelve bags in the box only two came out and were usable without tears. Those two held up well enough over a few days to fill the bag and remove it without breaking or dissolving. With that said it was not getting filled with “wet” trash until right when it was time to take the bag out. The packaging is confusing as it shows it can be home composted with another mark next to that one that said it can only be commercially composted. I will keep an eye out to see if a newer version of this product becomes available in the future that is less likely to tear. It’s a great concept that still needs some work.
thin yet sturdy. i keep the bag in the freezer, filling it until it's time to dispose of the compost in my building's recycling/garbage/compost area. it holds a surprising amount while still fitting in the freezer. does the trick and is eco-friendly. i've already stocked up on more bags
