A few ways:

• Our products a lower carbon footprint than comparable non-compostable products. 
• We use renewable ingredients like corn and upcycled wood pulp and sugar cane. These upcycled materials leftovers from manufacturing that would otherwise go directly to waste. 
• We process materials with methods that release fewer greenhouse gases and toxic chemicals into the environment than conventional plastic and paper.
• Our composted products can be used to help fertilize crops for future use , creating a closed-loop sustainability system.  

Since launch, Repurpose has saved 8,638 metric tons of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere and 3,531,805 pounds of waste from ending up in landfills.
