Biodegradable simply means that disintegration will occur, without specifying an amount of time or what the end material may be. Technically, any material is biodegradable overtime and depends on the environment. Companies often use the term “biodegradable” to mislead consumers. It is illegal in the state of California to label a product as biodegradable without being substantiated by third-party testing.
Compostable materials must degrade at a certain rate into a nutrient-rich substance to be qualified. We consider “compostable” to be a legitimate way to measure and represent a product’s end-of-life impact on the environment.
Our compostable products are certified as compostable, not just biodegradable.
The available packaging made from compostable materials does not perform well enough to ensure your products make it home clean and safe.
We are committed to continuing our work innovating cost-effective compostable packaging that’s up to our performance standards. We hope to make all our packaging compostable soon.

Even if our products end up in a landfill, there are upstream benefits associated with our products which are made from renewable plant-based sources compared to virgin fossil-fuel derived plastics. Our products are totally non-toxic and leave no toxic residues or microplastics behind.
“Great product, I feel safe drinking from it.”
We love these cups, and so do our clients. We always get loads of compliments on them. They are an adorable shape, and feel great in your hand. We can't wait for the smaller size to be released too! Fingers crossed for a 10 ounce. ;)
The greatest thing about these are that they impart no flavor to water, wine, or anything else you put in them. They are unlike plastic cups, that give a subtle taste of plastic. I was surprised and very pleased. I wish they'd make them in the shape of a proper wine glass. Then they'd be perfect
I have to regularly buy one-use wine glasses for events and openings and these checked all the boxes. I hate buying plastic, duh, and the other commercially compostable ones looks so cheap with the logos and graphics. These pass the design snob text and work well for my needs. I will continue to buy!
We love these! As caterers, use these for large events (for cocktails and wine) and for our water stations even at high end events.
